A couple weeks ago, the one-star movie of the week was Uptown Girls: "An excruciating film with forced humor and fake, grating sentimentality with lead performances eliciting neither affection nor empathy."
Last week, it was a made-for-TV movie called Hello Sister, Goodbye Life: "This drama, about a girl who is faced with taking care of her sister after losing her parents, is plagued with bad acting and unrealistic dialogue. Give this one a miss."
