I was perusing one of my favorite sites - Snopes.com - reading about items that may or may not be hoaxes when I read about a (fairly) new site called Freerice.com. The site was created by an American computer-programmer (John Breen), the same person who created The Hunger Site several years ago.
For those of you who like to learn new words, or just play games, now you can take a break from work and feed the hungry! Simply choose the right answer to a word definition problem, and 20 grains of rice will be donated to the needy. The rice is paid for by advertisers whose names are at the bottom of the screen.
I made it to 800 grains of rice, and a level 40 vocabulary - what is your score?

It took me about a half hour but I made 1000 grains of rice! Yey!
2000 grains of rice - vocab score of only 39 though - weird, eh? And I'd say about 10-15 minutes of clicking... I guess I am a quick clicker - but don't know all the words :)
